To all the wonderful folks at Costa Maya Reef Resort, Jose, Guermo Henry, Eddie, Ken, Brent, Lee Ann, John, and all the lovely gals in the restaurant, office, Sonia in the store, everyone...you guys are the best. We had the time of our lives and can't wait to come back. Personally, we love that things are so layed back and not too too fancy and over the top. Keep up the great work. We love you guys. we are go to the costa maya reef resort in january. please tell us about the trip from the airport to the resort. did you drive? or take the water taxi? is the bridge and road to the resort passable or challenging? does the costa maya reef resort pick up guests at the airport or are we on our own to get there?

We went to the resort this last summer. the resort does notr provide transport freom the Airport. You must get a Taxi to the Boat that take you to the Island. 45 minute boat ride on a sometime crowded Boat. This Boat will take you to San Pedro were you will have to get a Taxi to the Boat that will take you to Costa Maya. 15 min ride. All your travel from there will be by Boat.
