energy surcharge + 1 bedroom for 3

Mar 29, 2007

We just reutrned and wre surprised on checkout to have a $115 energy charge. Normally we expect only about $25 for the timeshare tax but the energy charge really surprised us.

Also, no computer to check email as many resorts have. Nice place otherwise - we had 1 bedroom, 2 bath. Living room was small with a full size (not queen) daybed (not sofabed). One person would have to crawl over other if 2 slept there. No chair so 3 people would sit elbow to elbow on daybed. I'd recommend no more than 3 people, unless 2 were small children. 2 chairs on lanai not 4.

wow! I did not know about the energy surcharge! that's quite a fee! I just won an ebay auction for this resort (impulse buy) and have not yet been there. from the sounds of things, it is a bit small. There are 5 of us (soon to be 6 when my son gets married. good thing I got a 2 bedroom place. thanks for the info.
