Sedona Springs vs Villas of Sedona

I heard these are sister resorts and you can use the ammenaties of one when staying at the other. Is this true and what are the differences between the two? Which is your favorite?

you can use the facilities of either resort when you stay at one of them so there is a total of two outdoor pools , one indoor pool, and four hot tubs . nice clubhouse that has wifi and games and movie rentals. we stated at the villas of sedona and were very happy with the unit. they have put some nice updated furniture and remodeling. the villas of sedona has a number of different floorplans. they do not have any lock off units. sedona springs is all lock of units. I own units at both resorts. the villas has a check in day of friday while the springs check in day is on saturday.
