IT'S A JOKE! The whole resort in nothing buy a Timeshare Trap with over priced units and high annual maintenance fees. Don't use the phone in your room for local or long distance calls. We stayed there two years ago, and though the accommodations were nice (if not exactly luxurious), we had a horrible experience renting an ATV from someone who the hotel allowed to "set up shop" in their parking lot. We knowingly went on a timeshare presentation, and felt it was pretty low key compared to some others that we have been on. The staff at the resort were pleasant, and we enjoyed meeting some of the locals. Again, the only real reason we won't be heading back to Mexico anytime soon is because of the concerns we have with the different legal system and the rights (or lack thereof) afforded to non-Mexicans.
