Going in 6 weeks- any tips or suggestions? Things that we should be aware of; taking some young children. Did the pool get finished?

Wyndham has just finished refurbishing buildings A, B, F, and G. They did a nice job, but still use window air conditioners just in the bedrooms. The lower units just don't get the trade winds to cool off the living room/kitchen areas. We were able to use the pools/jacuzzis at Kauai Beach Resort. Very nice! The office folks were very friendly and helpful when we had a problem. It was fixed right away. We enjoyed our stay.
