Riverview Resort

Best Kept Secret on the Cape

Feb 29, 2008

The resort was purchased by Vacation Internationale several years ago and has undergone a full renovation. It is associated with the Cove and amenities there (tennis, basketball, racquetball, pool table, ping pong, arcade, large I/O pools, etc.) can be used for $5/adult (over 12yo)/day. A Beach Pass for a number of the local beaches can be purchased for $5/day. The Town has approved the building of a large marina directly across the river from the resort ( a smaller one is currently to the right of the resort), so you can watch the yachts coming and going, this will increase the property's value. There is a popular seafood restaurant and bar right next door and Pirate's Cove miniature golf is just across RT 28. The resort is one block off RT 28 so it is very convenient to everything: shopping, restaurants, activities, lower Cape National Seashore and Rail Trail. There is an inside pool and whirlpool, an outside play area and a second floor deck for watching the beautiful sunsets. On the second floor, there is a large community cooking area (rooms have refrigerators, and microwaves, no cook tops due to town regulations), a large TV/DVD lounge, play area, pool table and community area for playing cards, etc. The library offers free internet services. The exercise room overlooks the river and the laundry facilities are free. Picnic tables and barbaques overlook the river. This is a small, friendly, peaceful, immaculate resort, my favorite on the Cape.
