Switching via II and RCI

I was ready to purchase an Ocean Pointe timeshare, but heard horror stories about changing locations thru II and RCI...Is it true and how difficult is it if I wanted to go to a different location each year, using OP as my base for switching?

We just got back from the Monarch at Hilton Head. We traded our 1 B.R Studio unit ( Platinum ) for a two bedroom ( Gold ) with no difficulty at all.

Switching via II and RCI

we have had no problems at all. The website of II is very easy to use. We just traded a silver season studio at Ocean Pointe for a 2 bedroom at Playa Andaluza, Marriott's newest resort in Spain.
