Whale watching?

We've always used our units in the summer, but would like to go to Maui when we can see the whales. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best month to try to do that? (other than Christmas or New Years).

They are there Dec - April. We have been in April and seen plenty -- not as many right outside the Villas but plenty if you take a boat trip. In Dec we see them in the Channel right outside the Villas every day. Also turtles right off shore.

You should be just fine thru end March for sure and probably end (or at least mid) April.

We have been there towards the end of March and have seen so many whales directly off of the beach it was amazing. Lots of moms and babies breaching. My kids also loved the turtles that swim right up to you if you are still.
