upgrading your unit from 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom

Has anyone ever upgraded their week. We own a 2 bedroom oceanfront in the Nepali towers and now find that all the kids are coming. We can legally fit everyone in, but a 3 bedroom with 3 baths would work so much better. Has anyone had experience on how to do this? I checked on the Marriott website and there are still 3 bedroom units available for rent.

We were just there and asked them about upgrading. We were told that if the jump up was $20,000. or more then they will buy back your week and sell you the new one. You should contact your salesperson at Marriott.
