accommodations vs. Falcon Point or Sheraton Mountain Vista

We've stayed in all three, we love Avon and the surrounding amenities. Sheraton is definitely more upscale, with a "hotel" type of feeling: indoor hallways, pool on the roof, and activities. Lakeside Terrace is roomier and will easily handle larger groups. The rec center across the street is included, remember to get a pass. The balconies are a pleasant place to spend an afternoon and offer a view of the lake, mountains and park. Lakeside Terrace has no A/C so it can get stuffy, but cools off nicely in the evening. Don't even answer the phone when they try to get you to preview the new property. OMG... $2,200 maintenance!!! Falcon Point is like visiting your Grandma's 70's style apartment. It's seriously in need of updating; old, old, old. It smells funny, outdated dark cabinets, sliding mirror closets. The pool is nice, though. If it's just a couple, I'd go to Mountain Vista, but for a large group I'd pick Lakeside Terrace. Falcon Point is a last resort.
