Pool

We just had friends that returned from Kaanapali (owners) and the pool project has been completed and looks great.

How deep is the pool & is there a kids pool also? What about kids activities?

The larger pool is 3 1/2 to 6 feet deep (beautiful pool) and the smaller pool is 3 1/2 ft deep with a small water slide.
There is mini golf on site (we took our 4 year old) and a great beach for building sand castles. Our 2 and 4 year old had a blast for the week we were there. If you stop at Costco on the way from the airport (most people go directly there to stock up on water, snacks and liquor), there is a KMart next door. We grabbed some buckets/shovels and goggles there rather than pack all that over on the airplane.
The large restaurant is closed but the little cafe and bar/grill have good food but at typical Maui prices EXCEPT the children's menu . All items on the children's menu are $2.00 and are good sized portions.
