Marriott's Club Son Antem

Why aren't Marriott doing a Resales program in Europe?

Oct 29, 2013

The cost of sales and marketing is too high to return the owner the amount they would want back and be able to sell it on again.

Therefore unless the week is available for next to nothing, revoked or handed back it does not make it financially viable for the developer to do Resales when they still have their own inventory to sell.

It was always said that when 95% of the inventory is sold they will look at a resale option. As Marriott Son Antem was built in 1998 and Marriott Marbella Beach in 1996, Marriott Playa Andaluza 2002 and Marriott Village d'lle de France 2002 then if 95% still hasn't been sold 11-18 years later then it's looks like they aren't selling more than they are taking back or have no intention of doing Resales.

The best bet is find a reputable timeshare resales broker in Europe at the top of google that doesn't charge a listing fee and sell it through them. The ones close by to the resorts as well as Marriott Vacation Club Specialists are the ones to look at.
