I also got talked into buying by trading in my current timeshares after I did some research, I cancelled within 3 days-by calling, emailing and sending a certified letter to them, Prefecto and Mexican Tourist Board luckily, I paid for it all with my credit card and the company really helped me out when I provided them with my certified letter cancellation -I also contacted Prefecto and the Mexican Tourist Board per website instructions and kept copies of everything -Richard also told me I had to pay for 2 escrows even though the contract was only ONE day old -this was just crazy -plus some fees I refused and advised that I would not sign anything they sent with these demands -quoted the law that NOTHING was due if cancelled within the 5 business days -took months to be finally OVER but don't give up
