Per the owner: Quail Hollow is the ideal timeshare resort for the family or couple wishing to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday surrounded by beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife. The resort lies in the heart of the Poconos and is on the shores of a beautiful lake and beach kept very clean by not allowing the use of gas powered motors on the lake. However, Kayaks, row boats and paddle boats can be rented onsite at the club house. There is also an indoor pool, a hot tub and very good racquetball, basket ball and tennis courts. We always found the staff to be very helpful with their suggestions as to touristy things to do nearby - and there are many.

Some of our favourite day trip have been visits to the Amish Countryside, the Eckling Miners Village, the Hershey Chocolate World Tour, and horse back riding at Daisy Farms. There are also lots of nearby parks to explore as well as many walking trails. During the winter season snowboarding and skiing are available within a few minutes drive. This is an ideal resort to be enjoyed in all four seasons but it is especially beautiful in the Fall - which is the week that we own. However, should you wish to holiday at a different time, (eg. winter for skiing), you can easily exchange your time slot by calling Crown Resorts and paying a small fee of $100 which is much less than an RCI exchange. This fee also allows you to exchange to one of the other five resorts owned by Crown Resorts.

There are many interesting and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Some of our favorites are Mary's Family Restaurant and Pizza-Pie-O-Near - both in Drums. Martins Restaurant in West Hazelton is a real gem for foodies - elegant and serving excellent food. An added bonus is their BYOB policy. The restaurant at the Club House also serves good food. Many people prefer to use the unit's BBQ or well-equipped kitchen to prepare dinner at home. There is a Walmart Superstore located only a few minutes drive away for groceries as well as other smaller grocery stores nearby.

Quail Hollow is an older resort which is gradually being renovated on an annual basis. Our own unit has undergone several improvements in the last 2 years. We recently received a new flat screen TV for the living room, a new, large and very comfortable couch and reclining chair and a new stove for the kitchen. There is a good working fireplace in the LR which is very cozy when the nights get cool. There is also excellent cable and WIFI in the unit. Although the rest of the furniture is older, it is very comfortable and clean. The beauty of this resort is the wonderful view from the upper and lower decks, and the peace and quiet in the surroundings. It is a wonderful place to recharge your batteries before going back to your busy lives.

Our family and friends have stayed at Quail Hollow many times over the years and have always enjoyed it. It is situated within easy driving distance to many major cities in both Canada and the USA. It has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. On one of our trips we rented several houses and had a family reunion. We toured around during the day and then shared our meal at night. It was a wonderful and very memorable experience. We hope that you, if you decide to buy this timeshare, will enjoy many happy and relaxing visits here over the years. Don't forget it is always possible to share the expenses of a week with a family member or friend. We have decided to sell our unit as we are no longer able to travel for health reasons.
