Enjoy returning each day to your luxurious timeshare suite with views of the ocean worthy of a picture postcard. Kahana Villa offers one- and two- bedroom timeshare units featuring a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and private lanai. All two-bedroom units at this resort are two stories, with both bedrooms upstairs and the living area downstairs. One-bedroom units feature a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. Two-bedroom units feature a king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area.
Kahana Villa Resort provides guests with amenities such as a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. The resort also offers activities such as lei making, nature walks, poolside barbecue, bracelet making, hula hoop contests and do-it-yourself postcards. Nearby beaches are perfect for swimming, body surfing, and boogie boarding.
One of the world's most scenic drives is located on Maui - the Hana Highway - with 54 bridges in 56 miles along a winding lava shore, through old plantation towns, past miles of beaches and through towering forests. A drive to the summit of Haleakala is also a must. Haleakala crater appears like the surface of an alien planet and the views of Maui from the summit are amazing.

I love this place. Although I am an owner, this place never seen to disappoint me. I have other timeshares that have not led up to my expectation and would not recommend anyone to stay there. I just stayed at the resort in September 2011 for two weeks. It's still peaceful and quiet and a great place to bring your children. The B-Que area is a great place to hang out and socialize with other guest. The pool and spa is clean and I have a lot of time to swap war stories with others as we waited to grill are favorite foods. The rooms have been kept up well and it is great to have a washer and dryer in the unit since airlines are charging by the bag. We had great fun going over to Kahana Beach Club to participate in all the resorts activities but I couldn't wait to get back and relax at my resort. Across the street at the park we were able to fish, watch huge turtles play, and enjoy the sunset. It's one of the best places to hang out on the island.

Just got back from KV Sept 2009. it was great. the rooms were clean, the BBQ spotless, a couple of days we had the pool to ourselves. it was never crowded. We played cards and drank some beers around the pool. no problem. We snorkeled across the street. Saw 4 turtles. We had a little water leaking from the ice maker. maintenance came right out and fixed it, other than that we had a great time. I love how it's not crowed. I own other timeshares in Hawaii and this one was more relaxing because of no crowds. We own 2 bedrooms which is great. We brought friends. Parking was never an issue. Check in was smooth. Walked to the store, restaurants, and Brewery. The rooms, gardens, pool and pool side was kept up and very nice. Canât wait to get back there.

We have stayed at KV several times (2003, 2005 & 2007). No, this resort is not fancy and does not have all the thrills as the larger resorts, but it's quite and clean and the units are well equiped. The fact that each unit has a washer and dryer is wonderful. We have stayed in both the one bedroom and two bedroom units. The two bedrooms have much better views. It's located in an area where you can walk to local stores, Outback Steak House and convenience stores and the beach is right across the street. Lahaina is approximately 10-15 minutes away. The fact is, you are in Maui!!! I don't believe you need the fancy resorts with all the extras - enjoy all that Maui has to offer!! We would stay at KV again and again!!

Kahana Vacation Villas
When Interval International called with this exchange just two days after my request, I was thrilled that we got a two-bedroom unit on Maui. Last year, I had requested the same and could only get a Gardens at West Maui one-bedroom unit. We knew that Consolidated managed both resorts and thought KVV would be a great place because Gardens was very nice. We actually purchased a week at Gardens before our stay last year because we had six of us for that trip and only room for four with our Interval exchange, so we were very pleased at our purchase, having never seen the resort before our first visit.
In my excitement, I checked all reviews on Kahana Vacation Villas at a couple of Timeshare web sites. Both sites had disappointingly negative reviews, but I thought, Hey, we are going to be on Maui, so I ignored the reviews and looked forward to another great stay on the island.
We checked into the resort on 7/13/06, one day late because we had an overlap with our Pahio at Shearwater week, on the island of Kauai. I observed that the exterior of the buildings were newly painted, a tan color, and the grounds were impeccably landscaped, a good sign and reminiscent of our first stay at Gardens, which was also landscaped beautifully. I noticed the pool is a little on the small side, but the whirlpool spa was a nice large sized one, with enough space for at least eight adults. I knew we would be using that on this trip, at least once or twice.
Our unit was on the sixth floor in the Enterprise building, the last one in the complex, uphill from the others and more inland. We heard that some units have ocean views and assumed ours would not have the luxury, since we had exchanged into this resort at a busy time for Maui, plus we were a day late checking in. We were expecting leftovers and were in for a big surprise. Our unit had a two-story view of the ocean, occupying the two upper stories of the building, with the bedrooms on the seventh floor, with only a slight number of large houses in the lower foreground of our view. We had 16 feet of window height, which gave us the same view from our loft bedroom. We were facing southwest, high above the ocean. The architect of this building must have taken this view into account when deciding the angle of this building.
The unit was the opposite of what we imagined. If I were an artist, I would have painted this view, but Rick just took lots of pictures.
The units interior did not look like any pictures we have seen on the internet, even on Consolidateds website. The furniture was recently replaced with bamboo-styled pieces, the primary upholstery colors being blue and green. The décor was very attractive, with beautiful artificial plants on tables and in corners of all of the rooms. There were also lots of pictures with bamboo frames that matched the furniture. The carpet is a tan color, in need of replacing or cleaning it was pretty stained, but we have found that to be a problem with most timeshare units, except when the carpet is new. Spills on vacations do not get wiped up as readily as at home, unfortunately.
The kitchen was very well appointed with all of the necessities for cooking and serving, even a pineapple corer. The kitchen has white counters and attractive white appliances and cabinets. There is a washer/dryer unit in the kitchen as well, complete with a large bucket of laundry detergent. The smooth-top stove was fairly new and worked well. We had an issue with the oven being set on Celsius instead of Fahrenheit temperatures. Calling the office was a waste of time, no one there could help us or even provide an owners manual. A maintenance person was supposed to call or come up to help, but no one came. That was an annoyance, but Rick knew how to convert temperatures, he remembered his eighth- grade math, so we were able to eat anyway. No one ever got back to us, nor did they seem to care at the front desk when I asked for the same information in person the next day.
The lanai had four chairs, enough for all of us to sit and admire the spectacular view. We spent a lot of time watching the waves come in and wondered what we would see from the lanai during whale season. Our view was incredible, a picture postcard view of the ocean. We couldnt have been more pleased.
All two-bedrooms at KVV are two stories, with both bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom is actually a loft area, with the same ocean view as the living room, which is directly below. Anything said in the master bedroom can be heard downstairs, the sound carried so well from above. The master bedroom has a king bed with colorful bedspread, nice furniture with two nightstands, dresser and television armoire, all new and attractive. The second bedroom has twin beds, a nightstand and chest of drawers. Both closets were ample for hanging up clothes and storing suitcases. The two bathrooms were identical, both with small bathtub/showers, attractively tiled in clean white. The master bathroom had two sinks in the larger vanity. Both baths had a good supply of towels, shampoo, bar soaps and body lotion.
The maids do a great job of keeping the place clean and performed a towel change midweek. I asked for additional coffee and was rewarded with enough for our entire stay. We gave the maids a tip for the extra service.
Consolidated Resorts is still actively selling units at Sands of Kahana here on Maui. Since the management company is Consolidated, it is obvious to us that the concierge at this resort and all others owned by Consolidated is only present to get exchangers to tour Sands. Once the concierge hears the word resale, whether you purchased on the islands or anywhere (which is a dirty word as far as Consolidated is concerned), the exchanger is treated as a pariah, unwelcome to tour Sands and unwelcome in the concierges office. If you are willing to pay retail for luaus and boat trips, she is more than happy to make the reservations at retail prices. Of course, she keeps the difference between the going price and the price you paid. The retail price is way more than the price you would pay if you booked it yourself with a simple phone call. It is just too easy to find deals for activities that do not require timeshare tours, so there is no need to use the concierge.
Consolidated Resorts Management provides many and varied activities for owners and guests that are all free, most at Sands of Kahana across the street, including lei making, nature walks, a BBQ, bracelet crafting, hula hoop contests and do-it-yourself postcards. We had so many sights to see on Maui that we chose not to attend the activities.
I was hesitant to stay at this resort, based on the reviews I have seen, but had a wonderful experience and was happily surprised. I would stay at Kahana Vacation Villas again, if the opportunity arises, but I would only accept a two bedroom because the views seem to be different.
I almost gave it five stars, but it is not that fancy, lacking some of the luxuries of Five Star Resorts, such as whirlpool bathtubs. ALOHA!

We just returned from a stay at this location in a two bedroom unit and found it to be very nice. The rooms were very spacious and had all we needed inside. The fact that the laundry facility was inside the unit was very convinient, the kitchen area was big enough that we did not feel crowed in it. Having two TVs with one DVD/VCR player was a plus when traveling with kids. The walk to the beach was not bad, just across the street.
