Our first week was at the Eagle Crest resort and then we drove to the beach. What a view. Our condo was equipped with everything we needed. My wife and I enjoyed just walking on the beach in front of the resort. AT night we visited the Chinook Winds casino and found it to be very friendly. We bought fresh crab, oysters and clams from the side of the road and had a feast at home in the condo. Each day we drove up and down the coast and even inland with the Siletz River. Coming back to the Sandpiper was like coming home. We will return ASAP...

What a great place! High on a cliff overlooking the crashing surf in your comfortable living room or on your own private deck, the Sandpiper experience simply can't be topped. Lincoln City is an interesting town with a great public library, lots of good used book stores, great shopping and movies. Traffic can be heavy especially on summer weekends, but most of the time it is quite manageable.

Lincoln city traffic can be rather dicey at times.
