Veranda Beach Club is located along some 250 feet of powdery white, sandy beach on an exclusive island near Sarasota, with the best in water sports and recreation. This is where you belong - relaxing on your veranda, looking out over the crystalline sands of Longboat Key’s eleven-mile beach. The shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico lure you to the water’s edge, where you take a deep breath and drink in the beauty of your surroundings.
There are many restaurants on Longboat Key as well as St. Armand's Circle, which is 4 miles south of the resort. Although golf courses on Longboat Key are private, there are several courses in Sarasota and Bradenton open to the public (20 - 25 minute drive from the resort).

Longboat Key is one of the few untouched beaches left in Florida and it shows - the sand is sparkling white and excellent for collecting seashells. It is also not uncommon to see dolphins playing in the ocean. St. Armands Circle is less than 5 minutes away and has some of the greatest shopping anywhere! Additionally, there are so many excellent restaurants in the area, it is hard to choose which ones to dine at during a week's stay! Hemingways, Cafe L'Europe and Marina Jack's are some of the best :)

One of the best facilities I have visited anywhere in the world.
Always clean and tidy, great service from the staff, ideal beach location, never over busy but a really nice type of clientele. Cats, canoes, bikes bar b ques all in excellent order.
Did I mention great set of staff, no matter its worth saying twice

This is my favorite timeshare condo yet! We had a great time in May of 2004. There were some minor problems which were promptly taken care of by the staff. Furnishings are comfortable, cross ventilation is great, and the location is perfect! Grocery store within a mile, as well as video rental and other shops. A perfect vacation spot for my family.
