- The Commodore Beach Club is located on the sandy beach overlooking the clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Madeira Beach, near St. Petersburg. Called the "Sunshine City", St. Petersburg has a perfect climate for year-round outdoor recreation. The beaches are the primary center of activity. You can enjoy skin diving, parasailing, fishing, boating, waterskiing, and sailing. In addition, the St. Petersburg area has become the most important tourist center on Florida's western coast, due in large part to its many interesting sightseeing attractions.

I stayed here on an RCI exchange in November 2004 and we loved it. The pool is small but very clean. The hot tub is very spacious and wonderful on a cool November night. We had a spacious, awesome one bedroom unit overlooking the Gulf, but beware exchangers of their one bedroom units facing the pool. Very, Very SMALL. The staff was wonderful, the Gulf sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The town of Maderia Beach is very nice also with Johns pass just down the street. A can't miss when visiting Maderia Beach. Would recommend to anyone. You will love it. I did.
