Not a Marriott, but a very neat resort. We used in the winter for a ski week vacation. Probably one of the best kept secrets in Western MD.

The skiing does not rival Snowshoe, but is very good for the novice and intermdediate skier.

Resturants are tricky to locate, but this resort is worth a four season visit.

This was a nice place to stay. The unit was very rustic and roomy, a nice place to curl up in front of the fire. The lake is right out the back providing easy access to fishing or swimming. The pool is actually a membership at a community pool up the road which we were never able to find so dont count on it. Also the unit is somewhat old but in good condition. There is no staff on duty, just maintenance on pager call. So I wouldnt call this a resort, but more of a lodge rental.
