Villas on the Lake at Lake Conroe

This property is so worn out, and is in such a state disrepair, it should be torn down and completely rebuilt. It's obvious there is no money in the capital account. One wouldn't know where to begin. The grounds and the units arepoorlymaintained, if at all.

MY family stayed here in march of 2007. We are a family of six. The resort is an older resort and the units can use a bit of sprucing up but the unit we stayed in was very spacious. It was a three story,three bedroom ,three and a half bath unit. The grounds were not that well kept. The management was friendly enough. We did not explore the property much but we saw a small outdoor pool and a playground and basketball court. I dont know if it was because of the time of year that we were there but there was no activities at the resort and it was practically a ghost town. We did venture out in to the Montgomery /Conroe area and found it to be a realy nice area.This seems to be a retirement area. All in all if you are looking for a wild fun busy vacation spot, this would not work on the other hand if you are looking for a calm quiet relaxing vacation spot then this could certainly work. We would like to visit this resort again but, we are hoping that by then they have done a bit more to the place.

Beautiful Resort...spacious, nice views, good fishing. Staff is helpful and polite. Very peaceful. The units are clean and large.
