Although the resort is located directly on the beach, not all units face the ocean. Riptide Beach Club offers an outdoor pool (heated and covered in season) and a heated whirlpool. The Myrtle Beach Pavilion (1.4 miles), Family Kingdom Amusement Park (10.5 miles) Brookgreen Gardens and historic Georgetown are other attractions you won't want to miss.

I spent a week at this timeshare and it was very nice. It is right on the beach. Parking is tight, but you can live with it. The townhouses are much better than the regular rooms, no beach view in the townhome, but worth it.
