I have stayed at this resort twice now. Both times I have had a studio unit. The studios are large and have a full kitchen. The two units I stayed in also had balconies. The landscaping is lush, and the unit furnishings are relatively new and nice. Trash is emptied from the unit daily. I found the units to be spotless and well maintained. When I reported a maintenance problem, it was fixed immediately.
The on site restaurant is wonderful. Great food and service. There is a half price drink happy hour at the tiki hut. Hamburgers are available for purchase Thurs. thru Sun. at lunch time. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for guests for no charge, but we tipped the beach attendant daily. Staff is very helpful. I highly recommend this resort.

Right on the ocean with a big heated pool too. Beautiful grounds, surprisingly good restaurant and friendly staff. Spa was very good too. We stayed in a two bedroom unit that was clean, spacious and nice and large.
The entire Sunny Isle area is being redone and now that very expensive condos are in place the money is available for the town to continue to make improvements. New this year, year 'round life guards, located right on the beach in front to the resort. This is a great place to vacation because even if you catch a bad (no sun) day, there's lots of stuff to do in the area. We like to gamble so it's great that there is a dog track, a race track, jia alia and a Hard Rock Indian Casino all within a 20 minute drive. South Beach in Miami Beach is about 20 minutes by car or bus.

The resort was lovely. Our first floor unit faced a very lushly landscaped garden courtyard. The beach was wide and beautiful and clean. There was always someone to help with the beach chairs (please tip). However the customer was sloppy. Our toilet stopped up and they had the nerve to ask us if we wanted it fixed. DUH!!! Our phone didn't work and they did nothing about it for the entire week. The resort is in between two huge construction projects and start at 7am. Once the construction is finished the resort would probably rate a 4 star - losing a star for customer service. Did not try the restaurant - my husband's favorite was across the street - TONY ROMA
