Sun Dunes Villas

Comfortable, spacious but nothing fancy. The first unit they put us in was very dark and looked as if it was last updated in 1970. We asked for another unit and they put us in a much nicer brighter unit which had been updated. There were four of us - 2 adults and 2 kids. There is a full tub/shower upstairs with the 2 bedrooms and a powder room downstairs. We cooked many of our meals in the unit which was well equipped. Overall the place was clean and functional. The pool was also very clean and it seemed we had most of it to ourselves. Laundry was clean and convenient. Location was quiet but not really walking distance to anything. We shopped at Trader Joes in La Quinta which is a marvelous nearby town. It is convenient to The Living Desert, El Paseo, etc. If you are looking for Marriott, this is NOT it. If you're looking for clean, comfy spacious condo as a home base - go for it.
