I have stayed in this resort on several occasions with multiple families and friends. Resort is very well maintained and has great location for various activities. There is a lot to do on site: it has several outdoor pools, huge indoor pool, several hot tubs, arcadia room, tennis court. **Resort has 3 types of 1BR rooms-standard -which is extremely small- would only recommend for 2 people, 1BR delux-which is nice size/spacious, there is also 1BR suit that is not really advertized and it has high seilings and is huge in size ( I have found about this suit on my 4th visit to the resort!). When you book 2 BR-it is usually lock off 1BR standard and 1 BR delux, it works well when you like privacy and your kids are older and cannsleep in lock off.** I have never had problem with cleaningness or staff, I read few neagtive reviewes, I guess it was bad day or timing. I would highly recommend this resort, I plan to come back again.

We found the 1 bedroom unit to be ok for 2 people for would be very small for more than 2. The unit itself could use some updating. The sofa bed was extremely hard to sit on while viewing the tv. Although the appliances worked the mico handle was broken so you had to be careful opening and shutting. 1/2 of the light bulbs were out in the fixtures. The resort is well located to all the areas things to do.

We have stayed at Laurel Crest on several occassions. It has very nice pools and the staff are always helpful. The location is great only a short distance from the main blvd. in Pigeon Forge.

The rooms always been very clean and in good repair. The Standard Villa is a bit small but the Deluxe Villa is spacious and very comfortable.

We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe. It was outstanding. The staff were tremendous. We upgraded on our vacation as a result of our stay. Ask for a mountain view and a deluxe room and you will not go wrong. The staff worked very hard to please us and they did! We even enjoyed a Thai Chi class on our visit! It is very convenient to the back entrance of the park, townsend, and the main strip. I like it because you can miss all of the activity on the main strip and go in the back entrance of the park.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit with 2 adults and 2 children from May 30 - June 5. The boys slept on the sofabed. The unit was very small. We were in the new building (10) and the fire alarm went off on a Monday morning about 6:30 and again on Thursday morning at about 2:30. This was beyond inconvenient as we all lost sleep and it was scary. Both were false alarms as the system is new and apparently not functioning well. Since smoking is allowed in the building, it could have well been a fire. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got several calls from the staff inviting us to meet with them for 1 1/2 hours (reportedly to schedule activities) but chose not to as we knew what we wanted to do.

The unit and the premises were extremely clean and well maintained. There were two pools, two hot tubs and an indoor pool and hot tub that were wonderful. One of the hot tubs was not working our last night there. The views from our unit were wooded and included the A/C units for the building. The kids loved the pool and arcade room. We have been to the Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge area many times and usually stay in a chalet, which is what we will do in the future.

We spent May 14-21 at Laurel Crest. When we arrived at our units, they had not been cleaned and it was late evening. The bed was unmaid, the shower, tubs and commodes had not been cleaned (black ring in the commode) and cigarette ashes everywhere. When we called about it we were told that there were not any managers available and to call back on Monday.

On Monday we talked with the manager and he called housekeeping. The person over housekeeping said we should have called on Friday so she could see the units. DUH! She had people to clean on Monday BUT, they didn't touch the jacuuzi or the counter tops. Another phone call!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is such a great resort. The staff is so wonderful. I stayed in a 1 bedroom and would have loved to have a little more room but the unit, outside, pool area etc were all very clean and staff was quick to attend to my every need. View was great.

Area is family oriented with plenty of activities appropriate for all children. Be sure to attend the Black Bear Jamboree and the Comedy Barn to make your trip complete.

Well this resort was a jewel. I loved it. I,d like to return again the gym, sauna, and facility was very clean, employees professional and courteous....room I was in was a small unit but very delightful and clean! More communication with staff coordinating horse-back riding activity would have been appreciated. Since we got no info....were able to find our own place to ride....a few dollars cheaper than resort offered too. Lots to do in theis area!

Two bedroom/two bath units are very roomy. Fireplace in units for use in winter (both romantic & warming). There is a separate shower unit and whirlpool bath in the master bedroom. Queen beds in both bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas in the living rooms give you plenty of sleeping room. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can purchase discount tickets through activities director. Also has on site activities. One outside pool - One outside jacuzzie - one indoor pool and one inside jacuzzi - game room - fitness room.

Convenient to all amenities in the area - close to Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, Comedy Barn, incredible shopping, music theaters, horse back riding. Great for a romantic getaway or an outstanding week of family fun.

We are actually owners at this resort. The units are absolutely beautiful and the views from some of the units are breathtaking! The jacuzzi tubs in the master bedroom are great!

Very small one bedroom unit!! No more than 2 people comfortably (we had 4). Timeshare salespeople point out that owners get the bigger rooms. Not helpful to us. Area was fun with plenty of shopping and the Smokies were beautiful.

Beautiful view, quiet, large comfortable units, a rental car is a must, but a short drive to just about anything you might want to do. We had a great time. Grown children drove to Knoxville for a sports event.

The area was a lot of fun, but not very much interaction with the resort personnel.
