- At Hatteras High, located on Cape Hatteras National Seashore, you'll find all the excitement of the Atlantic at your doorstep. It is located directly on the beach. South of the major tourist areas of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. it has uncrowded beaches, great fishing, and a casual lifestyle. Although surfing seems to be most popular, there is a wide variety of water sports to choose from. Each unit has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. There is also a nice outdoor pool for swimming or sunbathing.
