Sanibel Beach Club

Well-maintained, first "purpose built" timeshare in the US.

All units are spacious and well-appointed with 2-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms. The master bedroom and bath are adjacent and may be closed-off from the living area. The second bathroom is contained within the second bedroom, which has two single beds and a unique folding door system that opens wide to make the entire unit appear more spacious. The second bedroom even has its own slider to the screened-in porch.

New screens and sliders and windows are very nice and enhance the units. The kitchen is fully-equipped, including microwave, spacious, and is the location for the in-unit washer and dryer. Cabinets are plentiful, as are the kitchenware and other supplies.

Another unique feature is the arrangement of the roof that allows extra sunlight in the second (top) floor units. We really enjoyed that. We also enjoy our direct view of the beach from the screened-in porch. The property is very well-maintained. The groundskeeper does an excellent job.

Check-in was very easy and pleasant. The entire staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable. The resort has a pool, tennis courts, barbeque grills, outdoor jaccuzi, but few, if any planned activities. Most people make-up their own activities, which may be a visit to Ding Darling or a quiet stroll on the beach. Speaking of Ding Darling, it and the shell museum and other local attractions are quite convenient.

The resort is suitable for couples and families. Many of the original owners brought their families every year and their now adult children have fond memories of vacationing on Sanibel at SBCI. Sanibel is know for relaxing. Hard-core partying may take place on the nearby Fort Myers beach.

This is a fantastic timeshare..Great management and great amenities..bicycles for all ages, sauna, jacuzzi, large pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, and volleyball and on the beach..Friendly..friendly..

This very large two bedroom condo decorated with very nice furniture and is well maintained with full size washer and dryer in unit..lovely big screened in porch that we enjoyed everyday and the unit was conveniently located near the pool and sauna and jacuzzi..faced the pool and also faced the gulf..a short board walk to the beach.

Tropical setting with grass and palm trees...beautiful flowering shrubs and sea oats.

My unit did not have steps and could park my car near the entrance.

Large unit in a small, friendly development right on the beach.
