This was our second visit to this property. The room we had this time was off the buy steet and therfore less noisy. However, our sink would spontaneously bubble up with dirty, sewer smelling water or soap suds. Although the mgmt sent out a maintenance man three nights in a row they never offered to move us until a sewer smell began to permeate the bathroom as well. We insisted they move us, which they did. The staff seemed generally unconcerned and unapologetic...offered us a $5.00 pizza for our 4 nights of sewer stink and an unusable sink. We heard the maid saying other rooms on the second floor had the same problem. While generally polite, the staff could certainly be more professional and helpful.

Upon arrival we were checked into our room only to discover it was a smoking room. We have several children with asthma so we requested a non-smoking room. Within an hour I was notified of another room - poolside and the manager made sure everything from that point on was great. Tuscon was a beautiful escape and the Saguaro forests are amazing. I would recomend this resort - nice location

Nice units, variety of food sources around the complex, resort's food options are limited (sports bar). City bus picks up right in front to take you downtown. Resort is somewhat out from downtown, but located in a good area close to the University. Staff is very helpfull, and offer shuttle service to some sights. Pool area is lovely.

Very poor level of maintenance, several problems with room.

Staff was polite, but not well trained.

We visited the Varsity Club in October 2002
