Liki Tiki Village offers a world of fun both on land and water. The 64-acre gated resort features both two bedroom/two bath townhouse villas and one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas, all with living room, dining area, full kitchens, and washer/dryer. The two-bedroom townhouse villa sleeps eight and offers two queen size beds and two sofa beds. The one- bedroom villa sleeps four and offers a queen size bed and sleeper sofa. The two-bedroom villa sleeps six and offers a king-size bed, two full or twin beds and a sleeper sofa. The three-bedroom villa sleeps ten and offers one king-size bed, one queen bed, two full beds, and two sleeper sofas.
However, sleeping is the last item on the list of things to do at Liki Tiki Village. This 1.5 acre, 220,000 gallon aquatic park features five water slides, a wave pool, an erupting volcano, a toddler's area, a waterfall, spouting tiki head, interactive spray jets, a dancing fountain, and that's just the beginning!
Take a stroll over to The Harbor at Liki Tiki Lagoon Water Adventure which includes a nine-hole putt-putt golf course, bumper boats, shuffleboard, and a beachfront area. Make use of Liki Tiki Village's extended amenities such as boating, fishing, a shaded playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and two tennis courts. The beach area also provides lakeside fun with paddle boats, bikes, scooters, picnic tables, benches, and chaise lounges. Plus, the professionally trained Activities Fun Crew at Liki Tiki Lagoon has excitement in store at Kids' Kamp, a half-day adventure with many activities including water sports, field sports, a treasure hunt, music, and games.
Liki Tiki Village is rated a Five Star Resort by Interval International. Centrally located in the heart of Orlando, the resort is only seven miles to the Walt Disney World Resort entrance and just minutes from attractions including SeaWorld and Universal Orlando. Experience more of Central Florida's offerings with day trips to the Kennedy Space Center, Ron Jon Surf Shop Cocoa Beach, Busch Gardens, Silver Springs, or Cypress Gardens.

I have stayed three times now at Liki Tiki, each time in 2 bedrooms in the high rise buildings at the back of the resort near the water park.
First, I do not believe any of the reports that the buildings are being vandalized and gangs roaming freely. I was at the resort within a week of the one statement, and saw no such activity. The front gate had a guard posted 24 hours a day, and you were challenged to show either a parking pass or a reservation confirmation to get into the resort, which has only one entrance. And since they have an on site warehouse to maintain the building, in which I personally saw pallets of flat screen tv's stacked up, which they were updating the rooms with, why would a gang spend the time to break into dozens of rooms to steal, instead of simply loading up from the warehouse. I just don't believe a word of that report.
Having said that, there is a small amount of truth to the sound issue. But I have been at quite a few resorts, including ones that charge over $1000 a night, and have had the same noise issues. If you want quite, rent a house instead of a condo. Simple.
The water park could use a little better thought, there is a lot of stuff crammed into a pretty small area. And they really should have a segregated area for adults who are drinking, as I had on two occasion, to speak to people who were not acting appropriately for a public area. I am a pretty big guy, so when I complain to someone, it usually gets results.
The sheets do have issues in some units. The beds in the second bedroom had flat sheets, which tended to come off the mattresses at night. The sheets in the master bedroom were fitted, and were just fine.
Kitchen was nice and clean, but I hate the glass plates and raw stainless steel pans. They was all the dishes, including the pans in the dishwasher, which makes food tend to stick badly on the the pans. I went out the second day and purchased a non-stick pan at the nearby Target store.
The rooms had flat screen tv's in them. About a 25" in the master suite, a slightly smaller one in the second bedroom, and a very large, 40+ unit in the living room.
The two bedroom units in the high rises building also have laundry units, which is nice, as you do not have to pack a lot of clothes for the trip, and you do not have to worry about coin laundry's.
Shipwreck Sally's, which is a bar and grill type operation located at the water park, was very reasonable in price for drinks. Expensive by home standards, but cheap by normal bar prices. The food was moderately priced, but with rather large portions, and very good. You could call down and order food and then go pick it up at the bar. The kids loved the chicken fingers. One order would feed both kids easily, with room to spare.
My family loved the stays, and we will definitely be returning whenever we want to visit the Disney parks, as the resort is within 15 minutes drive of the parks. The only think we missed was the ocean beach, which our time share in Daytona Beach has.
One big drawback, which is not one if you are warned, is the sales pitches to buy into the resort, which are help across the street from the resort entrance. The offer some nice prizes for attending the presentation. But a 90 minute schedule drug on for about 3 /12 hours. Took up to much of my time for the gift offered.
ONE last comment about some of the naysayers. I think it may make a big difference if you are renting like a hotel, of if you are coming in on an exchange from another resort. We were accorded VIP treatment, because we are owners at another Club Navigo/ Island One Resort. I know that the resort tries to fill unused rooms through travel booking companies, where the price is rather low. You may be getting what you paid for with your bargain price tag.

Beautiful resort with plenty to do with the kids. This is a gated community with a security guard at the front entrance.
As an owner we have stayed there 3 times and have never had a problem with our room or cleaniness.

We just returned from 5 week stay at the Liki Tiki. This is our 3rd year there & we love it. Many bldgs were freshly painted inside & outside, our unit (800 bldg) had new carpeting throughout. The whole parking lot had just been repaved. Also flat screen TVs mounted on wall. Front desk staff always smiling and ready to answer any question make your day easier. Shipwreck Sallys--Luke, Joe, Manny & Brittany without you there would be no reason to go to the pool. You all went above & beyond to keep Don happy. Great Food!!! Great cooks, an inside restaurant perhaps in the old sales room would be nice when it is cold or raining. The grounds are immaculate, the maid service is too. Many supplies, paper towels etc. are included. Is it the Hilton no but it doesn't pretend to be so stop whining!!!!! We can't wait for next year!

WARRNING!! WARRNING!!! WARRNING!!! WARRNING! WARRNING!! WARRNING!!!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT! OUR CAR WAS BROKE INTO AND WE WERE ROBBED BLIND. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE. (IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR) BUT I HAD TO PICK ONE TO POST THIS.
WE DISCOVERED THAT THIS RESORT IS WAY, WAY OUT ON THE BORDER OF ORANGE AND POLK COUNTY. THIS IS A HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT, HOMELESS, DRUG INFESTED, CRIME AREA. THE THEIVES PRAY ON TOURISTS WHO DONT KNOW WHAT GOING ON. ( WE FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY)
WE WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD US, AS WE ARE TELLING YOU.
UPON CHECK IN WE WERE GIVEN A VILLA THAT WAS BEING SLEPT IN BY HOMELESS PEOPLE. WHEN WE OPENED THE DOOR IT WAS A WRECK. ONE OF THE BED HEADBORD HAD BEEN RIPPED OUT OF THE WALL LYING ON THE FLOOR THE SLIDING DOOR WAS OPEN. WE THINK THAT HOMELESS PEOPLE RAN OUT AS WE WERE COMMING IN. (THIS WAS REALLY VERY SCARRY) IN THIS DAY AND TIME.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE HAD TO DRIVE BACK TO THE FRONT DESK TO GET ANOTHER VILLA . WHEN WE TOLD THE FRONT DESK ABOUT WHAT WE HAD FOUND ( THEY ACTED LIKE IT HAPPENES ALL THE TIME, THEY COULD REALLY CARE LESS.) " HERE TRY THIS ONE" THE GIRL AT THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME. WHO WAS TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE THE WHOLE TIME I WAS STANDING THERE. THIS WENT ON A TOTAL OF 3 MORE TIMES TILL WE SETTLED ON ONE THAT WAS "OK" AT BEST, FOR A CHEAP MOTEL.
I WISH I HAD LISTENED TO MY WIFE (SHE WAS SO RIGHT)! SHE WANTED TO GO ANOTHER RESORT RIGHT AWAY. BUT IT WAS LATE AND WE WERE TIRED. I TOLD HER THAT WE COULD TUFF IT OUT TILL MORRNING THEN MOVE TO ANOTHER RESORT.
ABOUT 3 AM WE GET A CALL IT WAS SECURITY. HE WAS OUT ON PATROL ON HIS GOLF CART. HE SAID THAT OUR CAR WAS BROKE INTO AND OUR STUFF WAS DRAGGED OUT AND LAYING IN THE PARLKING LOT . ( NEEDLES TO SAY I DID NOT GET ANY MORE SLEEP THAT NIGHT.) MY WIFE WAS FLIPPINGOUT. WE MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO GO TO ANOTHER RESORT THAT MORRNING.!
WHILE WAITING TO BE MOVED I WENT OUT AND STARTED TALKING TO LOCALS AT THE 7-11 TELLING THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO US. THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS RESORT HAS NOTHING BUT TROUBLE, ALL THE TIME. THE GANGS OF THEIVES COME AND GO AT WILL, ROAMING ALL THRU THE PLACE AT NIGHT, PRAYING ON UNEXPECTING TOURISTS.
THEY SAID THAT THE RESORT IS BROKE AND CAN'T AFFORD TO HIRE ENOUGH SECURITY AND STAFF TO TAKE PROPER CARE OF THE PLACE OR ITS GUESTS.
I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT RIGHT BEFORE WE ARRIVED THAT A GANG HAD BROKE INTO ALL OF THE GROUND FLOOR VILLAS, OF 2 WHOLE BUILDINGS STEALING ALL OF THE FLAT SCREEN TVS. THEY DROVE IN AND OUT WITHOUT A WORD FROM THE SECURITY ( THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT) !!!! ( I THOUGHT TO MYSELF THIS IS UNBELIVEABLE) THEN I ASK OTHER STAFF ABOUT THIS , THEY SAID THAT IT WAS ALL TRUE. !!!
THIS PLACE IS A DUMP AND IS RAN LIKE A CHEAP MOTEL ON SKID ROW. THE EMPLOYEES DONT CARE WHAT GOES ON. GOD HELP THE POOR PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT INTO THIS PLACE.
