The Crystal Palace Casino is one of the Caribbean's largest - with nearly 700 slot machines and 60 game tables in a 35,000 square foot facility!
The resort's large pool, complete with spiral waterslide and swim-up bar & grill, overlooks the Atlantic ocean. The resort also features eight restaurants and lounges, equipment for water sports, and a miniature golf course. Babysitting service, as well as a Kids Klub program are available for a small fee. If you must mix work with pleasure, a business center is located on the lower level, fully-equipped with computers, Internet access, fax machines, telephones, printing, and mailing services.
The resort features live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Currently, the production is Cabaret Tonight, a variety show featuring song and dance, comedy, and magic that you're sure to enjoy.

This resort has 1 of the two casinos in Nassau (the other is Atlantis). We visited in October of 2006 and it seemed like the resort was undergoing some renovation so it might be nicer now. The rooms were not bad. The Beach is ok and there are plenty of activities nearby. The staff was nice.

This resort is RUN DOWN. The pool is falling a part and dirty. The beach chairs are dirty. The hallways are dirty. The room is "ok". The decor is old fluorescent of casino days long gone. The steakhouse is way over priced and the service and food were average. It's close to other really good restaurants and close to town. There are only 2 casino's in Nassau and this is one of them. The entertainment was good. No dancing.

Visited Oct. 2004. Can't say anything bad about the facility and the staff was super. They found a guide for me who took me around the island and to the historic fort, etc -- all for free as it was covered by the Royal Holiday group. Also took me to the fabulous new aquarium built on Paradise Island, oh that island is a fantasy dream! Free breakfast room for members and NOT just a continental breakfast. Lots of amenities in the first floor like an ice cream shop, internet cafe, restaurant/bar, duty-free liquor store (so you did not even have to go into town). Free chauffeur to the airport. They really took care of me.

We visited back in Nov, 2001-- (post 9/11)
The property was in need of a face lift; the staff told us that RHC/Nassau Marriott Crystal Palace was in the process of changing its management company. Our room was tastefully decorated but not as many ammenities as I would like--We had an oceanview room and from our balcony we could see the grounds and the pool.
It was obvious that tourism on the island was suffering at that time...The beach was pleasant (fairly empty); the grounds were well maintained--
We did find the casino adequate and Phil's Deli had great sandwich's; entertainment left something to be desired--the shops were open but we noticed that there was less staff around. I think we would do better at another property next time.
