Inter-Residences is in Val Claret in the heart of the Tignes ski-ing area, short walking distance from main Grand Motte lifts.

The ski-ing is superb, a vast high area with few trees but the interlinking runs, piste and off piste, guaranteed snow and glacier skiing in the summer are some of the best in the world. Easy access to Val d'Isere skiing areas, and suitable for all grades.

Inter Residences is an appartment building, the studios mostly have balconies with mountain views, well equipped but on the small side. There is an activities room, a sauna and a swimming pool. Car parking is across the road or underground parking is available in Val Claret. Enough restaurants/bars in Val Claret or 1 mile away in Tignes le Lac (free bus on lift pass), but otherwise limited night-life.

Went in the summer, not a lot to do in the area. Very few scheduled or planned activities. Took the lift up to the glacier, which was a unique experience, but didn't ski. Toured the mountain on horseback - fun. Great mountian scenery, but the narrow roads and steep drop offs made me glad I wasn't driving! Staff was helpful and friendly, unit was neat but small, fairly basic.
