Description

Palazzo del Giglio is situated in the heart of Venice and offers visitors the opportunity to see monuments like St Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge and the lesser known parts of the city. The lagoon called the Lido, is an island which offers sporting facilities such as golf, tennis and a beach with the added attraction of the Casino. Other trips are to the islands of Murano (famous for glass blowing factories), Burano (for the lace) and Torcello (for its expensive restaurants). The festivals during Carnival time and historical regatta are the highlights on the Venetian calendar.

Palazzo del Giglio is a great location. Just a short walk to St. Mark's Square, and many of the other attractions in Venice. This place is also located very close to a water bus station, which allows you access to all of the rest the Venitian islands.

The units are clean and very nicely decorated, with comfortable furniture and a well appointed kitchenette (perfect for getting take-away from some of the nearby restaurants). The staff is very helpful and the surrounding areas are great.
