Description

Located at Baga in North Goa, this resort is an exclusive private members' club. Nestling beside the River Arpora, the resort is built into a jungle covered hillside. The setting gives rise to the name 'MonteRio' (mountain/river). Baga beach is rated as being one of the most picturesque beaches in Goa and is a mere 5 minutes away. A host of activities to enjoy include river cruises, water sports, trips to local cashew nut factory (seasonal), various temples, churches and beaches.

Excellent from 1997 to 2000. Fair from 2000 to 2002. Better after 2002 (new manager).

EXCELLENT FACILITIES AND LOCATION. SUPERB STAFF AND FOOD. PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED AND VERY CLEAN. REALLY ENJOYED OURSELVES.
