Just returned from a week vacation with friends. Had a two bedroom unit -- very nicely appointed (particularly the kitchen - granite, high end appliances), very clean, and very functional. The units are a bit smaller than we often see in the US, but it easily accommodated four adults. The grounds are very well kept, as are the pool areas. The restaurants on-site were fine. However, we particularly liked the restaurant and bar area adjacent to the resort -- it didn't look like much (sort of a small strip mall setting), but the restaurants were quite good and there was some fun night life within walking distance of the resort -- good way to end the evening if you were not up for a drive into Marbella for finer dining at the end of a long day. Car is a must, unless you just want to sit in the sun or go on the various day trips arranged by the resort. All in all -- a very positive experience.

Just returned from 2 weeks there. Excellent holiday for kids and parents.Good kids club with there resident man Curo in charge. He also does the Spanish classes for residents as well as the garden tour round the grounds explaining the various flowers etc.

Stayed here in May 2005, staff very helpful, although accommodation in this resort varies, you have to be careful where your apartment is, if it is near the shops, bar area you will have nighttime noise. It is probably best to be on the top floor as on lower floors the noise level of people coming and going, banging doors etc can be quite annoying. On a positive note the beach walks are beautiful and if you get an apartment with a view they are stunning, just the Med right in front of you.

Great resort - had a fanastic week here. Only downside is it is located in the fairly limited resort of Calahonda

We stayed here in June, 2003. The rooms are no frills, typical European accommodations. Staff is excellent and the resort offers some day trips that are very reasonable. Most nights the restaurant on prem had entertainment.

Lovely big complex with everything you could want. The only problem with staying here , it is on a very busy main road.

OUTSTANDING!! As you walk into the large unit you will notice the beautiful tile floors and spacious area. The view from the balcony looked out to the Mediterranean Sea. Across the sea is Africa - only a 2 hour ferry ride with fabulous shopping. Don't miss out on visiting Mijas-the views and shopping opportunities are wonderful and you can ride the donkey's or take in a bull fight. Take time to visit Gibralter and pet the monkeys. The beaches are very nice and the food and wine is something to be experienced.
