Alanda Club Marbella

We had a lovely time at this club. We have 2 young children, and the pool and kids areas were perfect for them.

The units are very spacious and ours had been refurnished totally. The club is very close to a beach and a number of local spanish restaurants so you don't need to drive everywhere as is often the case. We really enjoyed the restaurant - only grip was slow service a couple of nights.

First Class Resort - Very good facilities - good family resort - good food in the clubhouse - excellent situation 2 minutes from the beach - 30 minutes from the airport - 30 minutes from Malaga and puerto Banus

Despite the Interval International 5 stars rating the resort is definitely very low standard. Probably it was 5 stars in the 1960s when it was built. Since then, the apartments have not been refurbished and just a little has the resort. I still have in mind the blanket I found in the bed........it was so old that my dog would have refused to sleep there. The people at the reception where mildly friendly and definitely not interested at all at making you stay as pleasant as possible. Indoor facilities (gym, jacuzzis, restrooms) where stinking and with mould everywhere. When I entered the garage rubbish was left everywhere. Definitely a resort not to go to, mostly depressing. After two days my wife and I couldn't stand it anymore and moved to Merriott's, even if we had to increase significantly the vacation cost.
