Description
Address:
Carretera Tijuana Ensenada Km 28½ Rosarito Beach
Rosarito, Mexico, North America

If you want a taste of the Old World, but with all the modern conveniences of the new, then La Paloma Resort is the answer. This gated community overlooks the sun-drenched Mexican coastline and encompasses 14 acres of winding brick paths and gardens filled with colorful hibiscus and bougainvillea.

There is no shortage of activities for the whole family, from horseback riding, surfing, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing to on-site tennis and golf at the scenic 18-hole Real del Mar Golf Club. When you’ve had enough of bargaining for that special embroidered shirt or multicolored blanket at one of the nearby shops, you can sample the local delicacies at the resort’s restaurant or, if you prefer, experience the lively nightlife in nearby Tijuana or Ensenada.

La Paloma Resort is associated with WorldMark as well as World International Vacation Club.

We got pampered in the resort, very clean and well manicured place! nice beach and good food around. weather is perfect. I would definitely come back. (we were there on Aug 29-Sep 5).

Just spent one week in 2 bed-room unit. Nice unit, clean, amenities ok. pool and jacuzzi were very warm, weather foggy, older place, maintenance and landscpaing okay, but could be better. BBQ was inadequate (one for group, build fire underneath). Beach access ok, long walk, units noisy, backs up to street and tollway. Construction out front, staff nice

I LOVE this place! It is a wonderful get-a-way from the hectic life in the U.S., but not far from the border. It's right on the ocean, with fantastic fishing & horseback riding on the beach for a fraction of what you pay in the States. (not just old nags either, but good running horses, if you like). The grounds are well manicured, with beautiful flowers & greenery, & the help are very kind & accomodating. It's right outside town, which has many shops & wonderful restaurants, but if you have a car, you must go to Puerto Nuevo, a tiny town about 25 min. away, for a fantastic lobster dinner with rice, beans, tortillas, & even a drink for about $8.00. NO Joke!

I loved this resort! It was a great value with a high level of service compaired to what you get in the US for the same money. When you go, attend the orientation and get the list of best places to eat. We stayed 2 weeks and did not try them all because we kept going back the the first 5 or so we tried. We had so much fun. The drive over the border is not bad but waiting to get back into the US takes a very long time. Go to the resort and stay there and the surounding area untill it is time to go home. Enjoy the people and leave plenty of tips for the people that take care of you so very very well. The beach and city in general is dirty and poor but we had such a great time anyway, I hope to go back again.
