Description

This is WorldMark’s newest Australian resort—right across the boulevard from one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world.

Through a miracle junction of land and sea, Kirra Beach produces the perfect wave. How perfect? It’s the site of the Billabong Pro Surfing Competition, and a place that inspired former world champion surfer, Peter Townsend, to say, "When I die, I’ve told them to scatter my ashes at Kirra."

You may be more inspired to enjoy the beautiful view and relax. Enjoy days of sun, sand and swimming, or head for the theme parks and family fun of Coolangatta just minutes away. The koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and wombats of the hinterland are also close by—about an hour’s drive. But it’s the ocean you’ll want most. For surfing, diving, fishing or boating, it’s no more than a short walk from the spacious lobby.

So grab your longboard, and make a splash. The waves are sublime!

We stayed for a week in the June/July holiday with our teenage son and his friend.

Loved the beach, great for long walks, not too many people. The surf was great. There is a Surf Life Saving Club just up the beach, great food and sheltered outdoor dining, very casual and relaxing. The view from the balcony was spectacular any time day or night! You could look up the beach at night and in the distance see the lights of Surfer's shimmering in the darkness. During the day just gaze out to sea and enjoy whatever comes along! We didn't eat at the resort, although it looked nice, there were many places to go out to or cooking in was easy with the great little kitchen!
