Ixtapa, part of the Mexican Riviera, offers vacationers a tropical escape. By day, you can visit the spectacular beaches or the challenging fairways of the Ixtapa Golf Course. Aside from golf and a beautiful beach, the area offers an array of water sports and shopping. You can sunbathe on the beach, stroll through the surf, or rent a Jet Ski. After a full day, enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine in the resort's restaurant, El Faro, which overlooks Ixtapa Bay, and dance at one of the great nightspots nearby. Pacifica also has the only Tram in the area.
The Senior Sands is 1 bedroom and the Master Sands is two bedrooms and are at the higher end of the Pacifica units.

We stayed at this resort this past Thanksgiving and the experience was fantastic. The attention provided by the resort employees was unquestionably the best I have ever experienced.
The view of the ocean from our balcony was stunning. Sitting each morning with my coffee and listening to the sound of the waves breaking provided a true relief.
Private beach cabanas are provided for Master and Senior Sands guest giving you somewhere to place towels and other items in relative safety.
The most difficult part of the trip was leaving.

This was our second year at this resort and we had such a fabulous time, we ended up purchasing another week. Great resort for families with children of all ages.

The Senior and Master Sands are the NEWLY CONSTRUCTED timeshare units built in 2005. They're very modern and very beautiful with inlaid rock in the entry way and showers.
Our Senior Sands (1 bedroom) has an infinity (where the water seems to just fall off the side) hot tub on the balcony overlooking the beautiful beach - gorgeous view! The tram is very convenient and takes you down to the beach so you don't have to walk.
The people at the Pacifica were absolutely a delight. Most spoke fairly good English and those that didn't were anxious to try and learn something or to teach us.
