Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC) on International Drive Reviews

This is one of the nicest resorts in the Orlando area. Not sure why some reviewers are comparing this place to the Sheraton Vistana as they are not in the same league. The Vistana is a high end government housing projects. I would kill to stay at the HGVC again. Nice ammeneties and high end decor. Decent size units with balconies in each bedrooms.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a promotion tour. We did not buy here because we own too many timeshares already. This resort has some of the nicest rooms we've stayed in and we have stayed in many resorts. We are 4 star elite with Starwood. It hurts me to say it, but this is nicer than Vistana Villages....very good service too. If you are looking for a great resort outside of the parks, this is it.

Great time. The activity staff was terrific. We spent one day at Magic Kingdom and the kids were fine spending the rest of the week at the resort. It almost seems like a waste to go to the parks.

We (a kid-free middle-aged couple) spent 4 days here in December 2005 and can't wait to go back. This is far and away the nicest timeshare property we've visited. I can't think of a single negative about the place. Our suite was just beautiful, lovely decor, very clean, and totally functional. The appliances looked like they'd never been used. Nice little desk arrangement with high-speed Internet jacks and plugs. Screened porch overlooking the lake. The front-desk staff was very friendly and helpful. This is everything a timeshare should be.

We've been back 3 times since this initial review. Staying at this resort continues to be a very pleasing experience.

We stayed at the HGVC instead of the Sheraton Vistana Villages in June. We were very excited to go there but we a bit disappointed. I guess if you are comparing this resort to others you can be critical. We were disappointed by the pool as its pretty well all about 3-4 feet. So for my husband who is 6' tall it was like being in a kids pool. Also kids were at all ends of the pool and it was a bit on the loud side. You don't have this at the Vistana Villages. It was also a long walk or drive as we did from our building to the pool. The room for a 1 bedroom was no where near as nice as the Sheraton Vistana Villages Premium one Bedroom. The Kitchen was very small and not very spacious. Like I said if you have not been to the Sheraton Vistan Villages then you will like the units but once you have stayed there you will find the Villages all the way around offers more luxury for a family trip. Try the Villages and you will see exactly what I mean.

My husband and I just returned from this resort. One word says it all GRAND!!! This place surpassed our expectations, from the attentive front desk staff to the suites - everthing in between was grand. We were there for 4 days/ 3 nights our first time in Orlando, celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. Our ages are 38 and 43, we like to have fun, party, sleep - relax, get massages and just enjoy life. This place has everything to offer. We sat by the pool one evening and one night we were in the jacuzzi with four other couples laughing and talking. This place truly stands to its name HILTON. We will be back - with our 15 year old daughter in April 2007.

This property provides an escape from reality. Visiting SeaWorld was a plus be we just enjoyed sitting by the theme pool, ordering food and drinks from the theme bar, sitting on our screen porch and soaking in the property.

Excellent resort with many sights nearby. Great service, and everything is brand spanking new. The 1 and 2 bedroom units feature a large jacuzzi tub for romantic moments, and the kids have plenty to do in the interactive water playground. As owners, we have stayed at this and other HGVC resorts; we also own with Sunterra and others, but by far HILTON's timeshare (HGVC) is the best quality; same caliber of quality as Hilton hotels are famous for.

We were delighted by the accomodations and the service that we received at this resort. We arrived during the Florida afternoon rain shower. One of the employees assisted us in getting into our unit without getting wet and even moved our car. We found the waterfall pool a delight and the layout of the resort allowed for easy access to the pool area. We look forward to return again.

We just returned from a 10-day trip to this resort in October. Everything was wonderful. Great vacation. Great resort.

We arrived early and checked in at noon and returned at 3:OOP.M. we were given a room and keys.We went to our room a beautiful 3 bedroom and the carpet was being cleaned and were told to come back in a couple of hours. Upon returning our key did not work,security let us in and after hauling all the lugage up I discovered the room was occupied by someone else.We were moved three times to another unit. I met with the General Manager and he could have cared less, not even a apology from him. Nice unit I would not

We just returned from 7 terrific days at this resort. First class accomadation, great pool areas, close to everything, friendly staff, we will be back. This was our fourth holiday in Florida, and this resort was the best.
