Description

A beautiful dry climate, 300 days of sunshine per year, stunning mountain vistas, friendly people and a charming downtown. Estes Park is a small town with a lot to love. Music festivals, Christmas parades, art shows and rodeos fill out an active social calendar, and quiet green spaces for picnicking abound. Plus, the town sits at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, giving you access to one of the finest parks in the United States. The inspiring peaks and dizzying valleys will lift your spirits and stir your imagination. It's no wonder Estes Park is a favorite year-round destination.

Cabin living at WorldMark Estes Park doesn't mean rustic--you can choose from studio units with small kitchenettes to three-bedroom cabins with full kitchens and gas fireplaces. Plus, your resort is situated on the Big Thompson River, and wildlife surrounds you. Take a walk to the river's edge to fish for trout, or pack a lunch and spread out on the spacious lawns. And don't be surprised if you see and elk or two from your window or porch.

The resort is located in one of the most beautiful natural settings. It is situated along Big Thompson River and provides excellent access to Rocky Mountain National Park, area activities and has splendid mountain views. We stayed here in early June 2011.

Our unit was a two bedroom and being an 18+ yr timeshare veteran, it was small by comparison to what we are accustomed to, the bedrooms being the smallest. The beds were not the most comfortable for sleeping either, not the usual plush quality Wyndham association is known for.

There were no closets in either of the bedrooms making the space problem even more uncomfortable, so suitcases had to sit out in the bedrooms. Since there were only four adults we managed. We did notice that the unit was not only smallish, but windows were small as well, so the unit was darker with poor natural light and not much view from inside. The trim and finish was lower grade, common lumber for trim and all painted surfaces were cheaply textured like Motel 6. The fireplace faux stone showed very poor workmanship, cheapening the unit presentation even more. There was no light over the sink in the dark kitchen and energy saving bulbs did not help the situation. Laminate countertops in kitchen and bathrooms did not speak luxury at all and the resort does not offer free wifi, you will have to pay to purchase I bridge Telkonet.

Outside the area views were great and the grounds were clean and very well maintained and the staff responded quickly to any call for assistance, first rate in every sense. Help was even given in a flat tire situation we found ourselves in by Mike of the grounds crew, without even being asked. As I said, the staff here was great.

Overall, the destination makes up for what the resort lacks and availability here is quite limited as Estes Park has very limited timeshare presence. I would rate this resort as a four star level.

My family stayed in a three bedroom at this resort the last week in July. The unit is large and well appointed, with everything we needed for six people. The pool and hot tubs were good and the Big Thompson River borders the property.

It is in a beatiful area and close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. There were few activities at the resort, but none were really necessary as the NP and the town of Estes Park offer many diversions.

My main disappointment was that the property did not have a very large natural area and our only private outdoor area overlooked the parking lot. Indeed, there is not much natural area at all.

The staff were friendly and helpful and there was little pressure for a presentation. I would have loved this resort if there had been more natural private space.

Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, only a couple of miles from this resort, offer many activities. The national park is beautiful with hundreds of hiking trails for all levels and beautiful scenery. This is truly a great family destination.
