Alto, New Mexico, United States, North America 88312
The magnificent Lincoln National Forest is the backdrop for Rancho Ruidoso Condominiums, which is located at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Peace and quiet are in abundance, as well as an outdoor pool and tennis courts, which are available seasonally. Hiking and fishing are year-round amenities of the area. Ruidoso's horse racing season is from May to Labor Day. Winter boasts prime skiing and snowboarding at Ski Apache, which has a summit elevation of 12,000 feet and a vertical drop of 1,900 feet. Enjoy gambling at the nearby Mescalero Apache Reservation. We have a great playground for the kids, and miles and miles of breathtaking mountain beauty for those who just want to sit back and enjoy the view. We are located just a short distance from El Paso, Carlsbad Caverns, and Roswell (Home of the UFO Museum).

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could.
The units are old and in need of CLEANING AND UPDATING.
The appliances, sinks and bathtubs were OLD and DIRTY........I would not even stay one night.

The condo was clean, but was not in great shape. It reminded me of a Holiday Inn. The couple that is running the place was great - they are the only reason I give this 3 stars instead of 2. The unit we stayed in had blinds that were bent in places - looks like maybe a dog had pawed on them to see out.
The pool was not very attractive. It was small and the fenced in area had grass growing between the paving stones.

Comfortable accomadations and friendly staff. I spent the first week of April, 2005 there and was pleased with the quiet & comfortable amenities offered. At the end of my stay, inclimate weather prevented me from continuing further north. The staff was understanding and was pleased to extend my stay two additional days. Impressed with their program, I purchased a timeshare before leaving. I give RRC 3 thumbs up!
