We absolutely LOVED this resort! We have been all over the world and US, own 4 weeks of vacation and I believe this week was the most magical of our 25 years experience!

We arrived around midnight in mid May, (must get car or take taxi from train station) and they were having a celebration with fireworks over the city. We were taken to our lovely "palace"-resort, in the lovely, quaint city where we were the only Americans around. There were a few Brits but otherwise the town was filled with true Italians and we got to experience the true life of the people.

We found wonderful, quaint shops, restaurants, and pizza shops. We took the bus down to the train, to go into Rome, which was great and (easier than driving) and then rented our own car to drive back and do more exploring. They had a little restaurant on site which was quite good, and the owners were very friendly.

We would definitely go back and repeat our experience! Our room opened into the garden and did not look like the picture but was quaint and beautiful! Our bed was good but our 6 yr old had to sleep in a crib, which was the only drawback! They did not seem to have cots or rollaways.

We spent a week at Palazzo Catalani last July by booking it as a late deal on another timeshare website. The accommodation is lovely and each room is different. The room opened out into the garden. The staff at Palazzo are very friendly and by the end of the week we felt like part of the family. The themed evenings eg. the opera night were excellent as were the daytime excursions laid on be the hotel.

The town itself is very friendly to Palazzo Catalani guests and the area is great for exporing. Although a car is an advantage to see the beautiful area we used the public transport to go to Rome as it is very cheap and the service is regular.
