It remains a hubbub of entertainment boasting a lively strip of restaurants, all- night cafes, bistros, and trendy nightclubs. The Sea Point Promenade looks out over popular Rockland`s Beach. The area also boasts two safe seawater pools: Saunder`s Rock and Graaff`s Pool. The recently revamped Sea Poing Pavilion also has four enclosed seawater swimming pools, with the deepest boasting a 10-metre-high (30 feet) diving board.

Nearby is Clifton, well known for its four secluded beaches, one of which has International Blue Flag status. Family beaches include Camps Bay and Clifton 4th.

Close to the City Bowl – known for its vibe and wonderful restaurants – and the famous V&A Waterfront.
