Relax and enjoy Senedo Springs, located at the foot of North Mountain and adjacent to the Shenandoah Valley. Days can be spent sight-seeing in the valley full of history- caverns, battlefields, antiques and crafts. You will love the serenity of still nights at this secluded vacation spot. Within a couple of miles are four ski runs varying in difficulty. In the warmer months, head for the 18-hole PGA golf course and driving range. Close by is 45-acre Lake Laura, with a small beach area and water sports such as swimming, fishing, boating, or canoeing. Each unit features a living and dining room area, full kitchen, and hot tub spa. Other amenities include a private pool and sauna/steam room. Enjoy the rich history and southern hospitality of this terrific resort.

7/2/06 Pleasant Resort; Clean, very large, comfortable (1BR + loft, sleeps 6), everything in good working order, check-in easy.
Furnishings dated-80s, but it looked like units were in process of being updated. (Very minor bug problem, due to wooded location.)
We would definately stay again, ski season might be even better. Beautiful rustic location in the mountains, quiet & peaceful family retreat.

I enjoyed the scenic valleys and fall foliage. The nearby diner was great! The caverns were fun and we even went to Gettysburg for the day and enjoyed the drive. Sitting on the deck and listening to the cool mountain breezes of Mt. Jackson relaxed us so much the time just flew by. We are already planning our next visit.
