- Shanty Creek Lodges is located in the heart of beautiful northern Michigan, overlooking sparkling Lake Bellarie. Resort amenities and activities include a private beach club that offers 350 feet of beach area and a clubhouse; golfing on four courses, including an Arnold Palmer and Tom Weiskopf course; and skiing/snowboarding on 36 slopes with a vertical rise of 450 feet.
The resort also offers discounted golf and ski packages. Other attractions include tennis courts, a full-service fitness center, cross-country skiing, indoor and outdoor pools, and children's programs. Relax Apres-Ski in our lounge featuring delicious libations and great entertainment.

We live in Orlando and vacation at Shanty Creek every summer since we are from Michigan.
You cannot beat the Cedar River Village with the exceptional amenities of a World Class Resort. We enjoy staying and playing on the Cedar River Course by Tom Weiskopf. The winter snowsports are right at your door, as well, should you prefer that season.
The pictures of the Resort and the rental unit tell it all -- come to Stay, plan to Play. You will not be disappointed when you add Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix or Interlochen to your itinerary.
