With miles of unspoiled beaches and boating on the lagoon, along with excellent fishing, diving and beach activities in season.
Lifesavers are on duty at our main protected beach where there is a Ski-boat launching facility, beach entertainment in season, a super tube and mini putt- putt nearby. It's close proximity to the Wild Coast Sun - only an hour away - makes Hibberdene the perfect holiday destination. Nearby Jolly Roger offer kids and adults alike a day full of fun in the sun.
Other activities in Hibberdene include tennis and squash, bowls, golf at the nearby Selbourne Country Club and relaxing in shady braai areas and picnic spots enjoying the day. Just north of Hibberdene is the small village of Mtwalume. Where the Mtwalume River meets the sea, it has created a beautiful lagoon, further up the river are the Mtwalume Falls.
This small village has tremendous fishing, spear fishing and bird watching spots - mostly due the area being so quiet. Take a drive and spend a day in nature filled surroundings.
