Casa Canada

Big Corn Island, Nicaragua

Casa Canada About the Resort

« Back to resort

The coast of Nicaragua boasts some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Caribbean. And the small Corn Islands just fifty miles northeast of the Atlantic Coast’s city of Bluefields is no exception. The two Corn Islands, Big Corn Island and Little Corn Island are lush with exotic fruit trees, native palms and surrounded by white sand beaches. A haven for pirates and buccaneers in the 17th century, untold numbers of shipwrecks and treasures still lay scattered along the turquoise shores of The Corn Islands.

The local Islanders, descendant from the original British prospectors and freed slaves, make their living from harvesting lobster and fish from the prolific, offshore fishing banks.

Casa Canada resort was built and developed to cater to all international travelers. This 4 star 20-room cabana-style resort includes a restaurant, bar, and infinity pool. With beautiful weather year round this is an excellent getaway for a summer, winter or spring break. This destination is truly one of the only untouched natural islands of the Caribbean.
