Westgate bought more acreage and will be expanding into over 200 acres. Plans to build an indoor water park and additional log cabin style units add to the rustic feel of this resort but with all the amenities. Resort was quiet. We had a one bedroom garden unit which was very spacious. It included a dining room, large efficiency kitchen with a huge breakfast bar, nice living room with fireplace -- open floor plan. The bedroom was spacious with a king bed and marble bathroom including a jacuzzi tub. I loved the large screened porch off the living room which had a table and chairs. Branson Woods is now our home resort. We just loved it. Our unit was very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend Branson Woods!

We stayed here 4th of July week, and were very impressed with the large size and convenient arrangement of the unit. The livingroom was huge as was the dinning room, and the kitchen was nicely laid out and well equiped. The master BR had a comfortable kingsize bed, and the washer dryer set up was an additional plus.

We fell in love with the Branson area and even bought a floating week at Cedar Ridge through Redweek.com. Grand Vista has recently sold the resort to the Westgate Group so were expecting even bigger and better things happening at this resort. For quiet and comfort in beautiful surroundings this place earns its Gold Crown rating

My family and I stayed here the last week in July. This resort is hard to rate because some things are good and some are bad.

First the good. The 2-bedroom unit was large and had a nice screened-in balcony, a nice large shower in the bathroom, and a good- sized kitchen. The service staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the outer-door pool. The location is great and the nature trail is very nice.

Now the bad. Although the service staff was friendly, they were very disorganized. We literally had to see 5 different people about getting tickets to "Ride the Ducks". Friends of ours who were staying in a one-bedroom non- smoking unit had cigarette smoke coming in through the A/C ducts from the lockout unit, which was also non-smoking. They made 3 complaints about it to the staff and the problem was never resolved. Some of the sales staff, however, was just down right rude. They left several people waiting outside after their appointment time while a sales staff meeting was conducted and became indignant when an old lady from Arkansas said something. The one and only hot tub at the resort is located on a deck of one of the units. Using it would definitely make you feel like you were intruding on the occupants. But it never came to that since the hot tub was cold and the water dirty. You also had to walk a considerable distance from the main pool and clubhouse. The indoor pool was also dirty and had a very strong chlorine odor. The unit, although spacious, was dark and did not have adequate lighting.

This is not a bad resort, and I don’t want to tear it down, but a $21,000 price tag is a hard sell here.

We stayed at this resort during Spring Break 2003 and will return in June 2004. The weather was perfect at the end of March and Silver Dollar City even was open. The units are very comfortable and the grounds are wonderful--it seems you are in the country, but you're just blocks from the action. The free activities offered by the management are very worthwhile. We were so impressed we bought our second timeshare, which we vowed never to do.

We stayed at Grandvista's Cedar Ridge in May, 2003. Branson is a pleasant place to visit - plenty to do, with or without children. The unit was lovely and included a jacuzzi tub in master bath. We loved the screened balcony for morning coffee.

The shows are enjoyable and the concierge at the resort is very helpful in this regard. I do wish there were more hiking trails at the resort, but it is a nice (short) walk to the falls.

I think Silver Dollar City may be overrated (and rather expensive for a family), but the Branson area shows are worth while and they are not all 'country'.

I would rate the resort a '5 star' ; it was quiet, very clean, roomy, well appointed and had easy access to outlet malls and shows.

We felt the sales staff could have kept closer to the 90 minutes they promised, but at least our sales person had humor, which helped.

The best kept secret in Branson. A beautiful resort with a great staff, good activities and the BEST location for getting around town. Get anywhere in town with out getting on busy HYW 76. We particularly like the last week of October to see the fall in northern AK. Some shows are dark then as it is their change of season week, but it is easy to get into the ones that are open.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our unit was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Resort activities where the best, with food and entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would certainly stay there again.

We stayed the same pre-Labor Day week (#34) in both 2002 and 2003 at Grandvista's Cedar Ridge at the Woods.. we like this week in Branson.. the kids are back in school.. the traffic is less congested.. the shopping and shows are more easily available..

We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2- level, screened balcony, lock-out unit... the recent prior reviews well state my opinion and observations... spacious, clean, comfortable units... competent, friendly staff for registration, housekeeping and maintenance... great location with good access to the theaters and shopping via secondary roads.. attractive, well maintained, clean grounds... a varied and interesting activities schedule including the bluegrass fiddle session, owner/exchanger dinner with show review, ice cream parties, breakfast buffet, etc..

I think that Branson is a WONDERFUL travel destination.. a great variety of shows that are well performed, wholesome family entertainment, entertainers that appreciate their audience and are accessable for meeting and greeting, wonderful vistas, interesting natural attractions, Sunday morning religious services in the theaters, recognition of our military veterans... as Yakov would say.. 'what a WONDERFUL country!!!' I rate the city and the resort a 9.. Joe Tragesser

Stayed here last week of September, weather was excellent. This is a well appointed, comfortable resort. Has a great location, just minutes from the shows and shopping. Very helpful and congenial staff and has on site activities for the guests. Show tickets can be obtained from the concierge desk, many at discounts, and they give an honest rating of the shows. We had a 2-bedroom unit which had an upper floor master bedroom and a lower floor lockoff unit, sharing full kitchen, dining area, living room. Has in unit washer- dryer.

Loved the quiet atmosphere, yet close to all the excitement of Branson. Great place for family fun. The condos were spacious and decorated nicely, personnel eager to please. We were here in July. The resort offered discount tickets to some shows, the Ducks picked us up at the resort and there were planned activities for adults and children if you wished to participate. We've been to Branson 5 times, seen numerous shows. It can be expensive but a good time.
