Silverleaf's Timber Creek Resort

We went June of 2005. The people who work there are very nice. They have an activity room that has a good variety of foods and drinks. They have unlimited mini-golf, archery, tennis, 5-hole golf (where you can rent clubs-- the bows, rackets, basketball etc. are free) all sorts of games and videos you can rent. There isn't a beach, but there is fishing. They also have bingo, uno matches and other stuff set up for everyone. The rooms are nice, but you can hear the people above you. St. Louis is close and I recommend Six-Flags. I would not recommend the Lead mine in Bonne Terra, that was expensive and not very good. We had a great time.

Wonderful resort with plenty of activities for the kids. Amenities are excellent and the staff is wonderful.

A very nice resort within 1/2hr drive of St.Louis. We didnt use any of the resorts facillities mostly because we visited in Oct. so the pool was closed & it was too cool for mini-putt, tennis & bike riding. We drove into St.Louis nearly every day as there is lots to see & do there. The staff are very friendly & helpfull. The units are quite spacious & decorated in a 'lodge' theme (stick furniture).
