Sailfish Yacht Club

small 11 unit building for those who want peace and quiet... 8 restaurants within 2 blocks. It sits on the harbor for great views of all the tour boats.. you can fish from the dock or just sit on benches and watch the mullet jump or see the dolphins in the morning...

As owners of 28 timeshare weeks, Sailfish Yacht Club is our very favorite! The view of the harbor is fantastic, the close proximity to the most beautiful beaches in the country cannot be matched, and while the resort is small, the management is excellent and the friendliness seen here among owners and guests is extraordinary. There is a new elevator, the units have been renovated, and the exterior has been totally redone and is now very attractive. Its central location in Destin is great as it is near wonderful restaurants, shopping, fishing, and activities for the whole family. We love going to this resort and have purchased 4 weeks here! I noted that someone has rated this resort only a 3 in 2004 but there has been a great deal of improvement and new renovations since that time such as a whole new front which gives it a much more attractive appearance, a new roof (blue and very attractive), new carpeting, new furniture, new pool, and this is now a very attractive resort as you can see in the pictures. The management has been wonderful and couldn't be more helpful and caring. It is like a family and we feel it is a very unusual and exceptional resort. January 2011.

I own at Sailfish and it is my most favorite timeshare to go to. It overlooks the harbor- much better view than the ocean. The intereior is antiquated, but exceptionally clean. There are only eleven units I believe so you don't have any noise. Most people are older that own there. You can walk to most of the nice restaurants in Destin from there.

I'm rating it a 3 just because the interior needs to be updated even though it is clean, very clean.
