Very large inside and it felt like staying in our own home! It was awsome to be close to the Ferry and the shops on the main st are so lovely! The people who run Briarwood are very nice to deal with and unit was very clean with its own private fenced in patio. Stayed in end unit which is very quiet ranch style, some have an upstairs this one was all on one floor like a small ranch style house! Very nice

Briarwood is a small, "homey" type of "resort." It has undergone extensive refurbishment over the past couple of years.
We stayed in a bright, spacious, two story unit with 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, and a full and exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. (Most Cape Cod properties have only a microwave oven and small refrigerator due to zoning ordinances which prohibit cooking in units, but Briarwood escaped this restriction because it was originally built to be townhomes). There is a fenced in backyard with BBQ grill, accessed through sliding glass doors off the living room. The unit was immaculately clean, with comfortable furniture throughout.
Two bedrooms and one full bath are on the second floor. This made it easy for someone to "sleep in" and not be disturbed by others downstairs cooking breakfast. Each room has an air conditioner, which is not always the case on Cape Cod. There is a pull-out sofabed in the living room, and the resort has some roll- away cots available upon request.
There is an outdoor swimming pool, playground, recreation room, bocci court, and a few pieces of exercise equipment. The staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and accommodating. There were many planned activities, especially for children.
Briarwood is not a beachfront property but there are approximately 8 beaches within a 10 minute drive. The charming town of Falmouth (within walking distance) has great restaurants and several interesting shops. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is 5 minutes away, and this was a wonderful daytrip. Briarwood's mid-Cape location made it very convenient to explore many other towns and attractions.
Most of the units at Briarwood are two stories high. There are a small number (4, I think?) of ranch stlye units where all the rooms are on one level.
My family and friends have stayed at Briarwood many times and consider it to be one of our favorite summer vacation places.

We stayed off season. The timeshare was spacious but in need of repair. The walls were very thin and because the units are set up like rows of apartments there seemed to be little if any privacy!
